NPO「Project Rousseau」：ニューヨークを拠点とする移民支援団体法的支援、放課後プログラム、大学進学カウンセリングなどを通して、移民の子どもたちやその家族を支援しています。

5月11日から16日にかけて、Project Rousseauの生徒・卒業生の皆さんが京都および京都外大西高校を訪れ、交流活動を行いました。

滞在中の午前には、本校および京都外国語大学の授業に参加し、語学や体育の授業を通して交流を深めました。太平洋を越えて新しい友人と出会えたことに、生徒たちは大変喜んでいました。

Project Rousseauの皆さんが本校を訪れるのは、コロナ禍前の2019年以来となります。この友情交流を再び続けることができることを、大変嬉しく思います。

Project Rousseau is a migrant support NPO based in New York that offers opportunities and support to migrants and their families through legal services, afterschool programs, and college entrance counselling.

From May 11 to May 16, students and alumni of Project Rousseau visited Kyoto and Kyoto Gaidai Nishi High School for a friendship exchange.

In the mornings, our friends partook in classes both at KGN and at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, where they participated in both language and P.E. classes. Everyone was excited to make new friends from across the pacific.

Project Rousseau last visited KGN in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are very fortunate to be able to continue this friendship exchange.
